We came upon this abandoned house in the mountains of Georgia last year (May 07) and since I like old buildings I took a picture of it.  I recently noticed what looks like 3 orbs in the top left.  Could be dust though. I was using my small digital camera with flash of course because there was no electricity inside for lights.

I know you also like crystals so you would appreciate this...on my friend's property there is a river that runs through and if you sit in the river and use your hands to strain the sand and rocks, you will come up with small rubies.  It is the most calming yet exciting way to spend an afternoon.  I have a vile filled with the tiny rubies.  Even better than getting them from a store because I know they came straight from the earth!

very familiar    I spend alot of time in north Ga.   Blairsville now , but a lot of time in blue ridge and elijay and in the mines.  There is a crazy cross thing they find up in north Ga.  i cant remeber what they are called but they are cool   i have never found a whole one but have found a ton of pieces looking for gold.    I love itup there,  I know of a old moonshine still site and a couple of old homesteads in the woods.  I have a 4 wheeler up there still at inlaws house so I explore alot.  cant wait to learn more about this stuff so I can explore diferently.   let me ask everyone something,  do your families get involved?  I am worried about freaking out my boys who are 6 and 8.  any ideas on how to handle that?

I am so excitet about this.  cant wait to get involved.

I love Georgia...so many beautiful places to enjoy nature.  My friend also has a copper mine on one of her properties so I have gone in there and it is wild...completely black and spooky but cool.

As far as the family goes...I have a 10 year old daughter and I am pretty open with her about it all. Since she was young we have talked about spirits and death (she has had  A LOT of experience with family deaths) so we have also talked about the spirit being able to watch over and visit the loved ones they left behind.  Also we watch Ghost Hunters together and all ghost type shows so she is already used to it and comfortable with it.

awesome   i want to go there too.   The mines and caves are so cool  but creapy.

I have been in caves in Ga. that I thought no one had ever seen or been in and followed them for it seemed like miles and crawled on my stomach to the end to jsut find beer cans and trash,  kinda kills the adventrue but it was fun anyway.  I dont know if I was creaped out by not knowing or by mabe running ito a bear.lol

Yeah I don't think I would be following you on that journey...you are nuts!!!  But it would be very cool to find a place that no one else knew about.  I was thinking while I was in that cave of all the history with the miners and that probably some of them died in there...you never know.
