What are the levels (mG) being used to successfully document the transient EMF levels in an investigation?

Are mG ranges being used or specific set points. What have been, historically, levels experienced?

Is it proper procedure to "de-power" a site being investigated at the breaker panel to avoid detecting currents (AC or DC) produced by existing equipment (appliances, transformers, condensors, motors, et al)? ... see this link... [ http://www.naturalnews.com/023307_EMF_reading_cell_phone.html ]

I am in the design stage of developing Gauss/EMF investigative equipment that possibly could give some documented empirical readings/data to validate findings of anomalies during a proper investigation.

I will soon need help with "level 1" and "level 2" PLC programming at this point... is there anybody out there...???

We check for ranges of EMF, not specific points.

In some locations, we have completely shut off all power, and other places (like restaurants, hotels, etc) we do not because they are storing food, etc.

Before we conduct an investigation, we always get baseline readings, i.e., going into the location and "marking" anyplace in the location that has a high EMF reading.

I hope this helps ... :)
